Flowersong

FLOWERSONG

This week, on her blog Robin's Nest, Robin has generously given us three lovely vintage ephemera freebies, including the music sheet that provides the background for this image. When I began, I was thinking of Gaby Bee's beautiful bird ATCs at Colorful Adventures. As I'm going to reproduce this ATC on magnet material, which I've never tried before, I thought I'd keep it simple.

I love the lace silhouette along the bottom .... and I notice the button eyes .... is that for Coraline?

Really beautiful. The oranges and reds go so wonderfully with the stark black bird. Great entry.

BTW, I noticed that you are from the Cotswolds. I am assuming that that is where that wonderful, wonderful cheese of the same name is from.

This is absolutely gorgeous. The colors transport me to a lovely place where I can hear the song of a bird serenading the dying sun.
