WINTER WALKING 03: COLLAGES

WINTER WALKING 03: BEYOND THE WIRES

collage made on my iPhone

THE TRUTH WILL OUT

collage made on my iPhone

Both of the above images were created using the same two photographs, taken with my iPhone, during yesterday's walk. There are many variations and developments, some of which are complete abstractions, and will post a selection of those tomorrow.

Special thanks to Les Brumes (Flickr) for two of the textures

Cat, I don't have a "proper" printer at the moment, so I can't test the quality of my iPhone work. My favourite App outputs images at a pitifully small size because it's only intended to be used for photos that are uploaded to the web. However, I've printed out samples on my beloved little Polaroid Pogo printer and they have a nice, grungy feel. You've got me thinking that I could work on putting some collage sheets together made up of say: 3ins x 3ins images and put them on Etsy. What do you think? thanks for the positive feedback!

That is just too surreal that they are from the same photograph .... you seem to demonstrate how differently we humans see and perceive what ought to be the same thing

Met you on DAQ and AJC. Your work and writing is awesome. You make me want to get an i-phone. I have one of those old stone-age phone that takes no pictures.
